Event Overview:

The Peace Club’s end-of-year event at Rimau Gari Primary School in Kajuru LGA on December 13, 2023, was a joyous occasion filled with laughter, learning, and friendship. The event aimed to create a fun and educational experience for the children, fostering a sense of community and well-being.

Promoting Healthy Habits:

The day kicked off with an insightful talk focusing on daily habits to promote a healthy lifestyle and positive relationships. Emphasizing politeness, seeking permission, cleanliness, and gratitude, the talk aimed to instill values that extend beyond the classroom.

Fun-filled Activities:

To maintain the festive spirit, the children engaged in various activities, including a thrilling football match between boys and girls. The boys, assisted by female staff, emerged victorious, showcasing the importance of equal play opportunities. Other games, like flipping water bottles and passing rings using straws, added to the excitement.

Gifts and Goodies:

As a delightful surprise, all attendees received drinks, snacks, and a range of gifts, including exercise books, coloring books, crayons, bowls, water bottles, and more. The generosity extended to non-club members and teachers present, spreading the joy throughout the school community.

Community Involvement:

The event hosted 44 club members, comprising 24 females and 20 males, reflecting the diverse participation in the Peace Club. Additionally, recognizing a need, HVCF donated a ball to ensure that female pupils have equal opportunities for play during breaks.

The Peace Club’s end-of-year event was not just a celebration but a testament to the commitment to holistic education and community engagement.
